Top up and gift card redemption
Buy a fixed-denomination gift card on BuffBuff and redeem it on the Credits page — credits arrive in real time.
Your platform balance (credits) is deducted by actual usage. Top-ups live on the "Credits" page in the console, with two channels: buying a gift card on BuffBuff and redeeming it (recommended, fully available), and the direct payment channel on the page (subject to its actual availability).
Option 1: BuffBuff gift card (recommended)
- Open the "Credits" page in the console and click "Add credits".
- Choose "Buy via BuffBuff" and pick a fixed-denomination gift card.
- Complete the payment on BuffBuff to receive a gift card redeem code (or a purchase link).
- Back on the platform "Credits" page, enter the code in the redeem box and click "Redeem".
- On success, credits arrive in real time — the page shows the amount added and your new balance.
Redemption notes
- Treat the code like cash: it is tied to your BuffBuff order — never share it publicly or forward it to others.
- Each code can be redeemed successfully only once; repeated submissions are rejected.
- Common failure messages:
- "Invalid redeem code format" — check that the code was copied in full, with no extra spaces;
- "Redemption failed" — the code is invalid, already used, or expired; if the code is definitely intact and it keeps failing, contact support;
- Busy-system message — just retry later; your balance is never double-deducted.
Option 2: direct payment
The "Credits" page also offers direct payment (Visa / Mastercard / American Express cards, plus digital wallets in some regions). The minimum purchase is $5, and credits arrive once the payment is confirmed. Availability of this channel is subject to what the page shows.
Verifying after top-up
- The "Credits" page and the account overview show your current balance;
- The "Usage" page in the console lists per-call consumption details for reconciling with your own accounting;
- A successful redemption is reflected in the balance immediately — nothing to wait for.
Note: spending limits are configured per API key (see Create an API key) and are independent of the account balance — topping up does not automatically raise a key's limit.
